The SOCIALIST FORUM OF GHANA (SFG) was conceived as an activist Think Tank, committed to supporting the intellectual struggles of working people against imperialist exploitation and local repression.
The SFG wishes to improve its relations with the Trade Unions to enhance its participation in the struggles of workers for improved living and working conditions. In this connection, it has held especially useful consultations with the leadership of the Trades Union Congress..
THE SOCIALIST FORUM OF GHANA (SFG) was conceived as an activist Think Tank, committed to supporting the intellectual struggles of working people against imperialist exploitation and local repression. In reality, SFG has long been privileged to play broader roles in working people’s struggles. We have indeed articulated the case for improved working conditions and the rights to equitable access to social services, like housing, health, and education and tried to explain how these can be resolved decisively through socialism. But, we have also served in the here and now as an organisational resource for those compelled to campaign for these rights.
